NEW YORK– Visit Seattle’s consumer advertising video Seattle First Takes: Taking Flight and content channel web site VISITSEATTLE.tv received two Platinum Awards in the categories of Television – Consumer and Web Site, respectively, at the 60th Anniversary Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International’s (HSMAI) Adrian Awards event last night in New York.
Seattle First Takes documents real travelers’ first-time experiences in Seattle. In Taking Flight, Conrad describes the sensations he feels aboard a seaplane soaring over Seattle. This original video series, which includes 15 episodes, airs on Visit Seattle’s original content channel VISITSEATTLE.tv.

It was the first of many different series that are all housed on our web-based channel, VISITSEATTLE.tv.”
In addition to receiving this year’s Platinum Awards for Seattle First Takes: Taking Flight and VISITSEATTLE.tv, Visit Seattle also took home the following three Gold Awards and two Silver Awards for destination advertising and digital marketing campaigns:
Visit Seattle was recognized out of more than 1,200 entries submitted and evaluated by expert hospitality, travel, tourism, and media professionals.
